The young golfer will have multiple prominent supporters when she begins her professional golf debut on Thursday.
This teenage golfer, who happens to be the granddaughter of a former US president, obtained a sponsor's invitation to participate at the Annika tournament in the Sunshine State.
The former president, someone who loves golf, operates multiple golf courses and regularly competes against his granddaughter.
"He's pretty good. I shouldn't elaborate but we have competitive games," she revealed.
She mentioned that Trump, who cannot attend, advised her: "Just avoid anxiety."
"My grandpa essentially told me to go out there and relax," she explained.
"In my eyes, he's just a normal grandpa. He's not attending this weekend. He's occupied with presidential duties, making him somewhat preoccupied."
As an amateur, the golfer has competed in just three tournaments this year and holds ranking 461 in the American Junior Golf Association standings.
Yet she can seek guidance from golf legend, romantically involved with Kai's mother.
"He stands as the greatest golfer in the world," Kai expressed.
"Additionally, he's a superior human being. He advised me to go out there, relax, following whatever happens."
The golfer will compete against multiple the biggest names in professional golf at the competition, such as world number two the champion, England's golfer Hull, professional Thompson and 2023 champion champion Vu.
The LPGA commented that involving Kai exposes the sport to wider groups, especially among youth audiences.
Kai has a massive following and has started her own apparel and wellness label.
The competition starts at 17:30 GMT.
