'Living a Nightmare': Families of Unaccounted For Teenagers Await Answers After Ski Resort Blaze

The relatives of teens missing after a deadly fire at a bar in a Switzerland's alpine town are confronting an agonising wait for official news and pleading for clues about their loved ones online.

The fire devastated the Le Constellation bar in Cans-Montana, located in the Swiss Alps of the Valais region, in the middle of the night of the first day of the year. Verified video reveal the ceiling being engulfed in flames as bottles with fireworks are held aloft.

Officials have indicated that it could take an extended period to identify the fatalities of the disaster, which resulted in the death of four dozen individuals and hurt another scores more. A spokesperson noted on Friday that 113 of the injured have been identified, with efforts ongoing to identify the other six.

In the meantime, loved ones have been posting on online platforms to plead for information about their loved ones who were in attendance that night.

Heartbreaking Pleas for the Missing
